The Amersham & District Philatelic Society

The Wedesday Afternoon Club is an informal event supported by a number of the local Societies and held in the WRVS Hall, Bury Lane, Rickmansworth from 2pm to 4pm. Note: free parking is very limited but there is plenty of paid-for spaces and Rickmansworth Tube/Chiltern Lines station is but a short distance from the WRVS Hall.

We have displays (of the silent type - so no embarrassment about having to stand before an audience and spout forth!), dealers are present and you are most welcome to bring your stock-books, swaps and surplus material through which the those at the meeting can browse.

There's a free cup of tea/coffee and biscuits/cake available and plenty of opportunity to natter to your fellow collectors.

Anyone is welcome, you do not have to be a member of a philatelic society to take part and the informality is all part of the fun.

Subscription to each meeting is £1.50 to cover the cost of hiring the hall and refreshments..
