Welcome
The Society meets at the Old Barn Hall at the Amersham Community Centre fortnightly, and the meeting details can be found on the programme page. The meetings start at 7.30pm and are usually finished by 9.30pm. Most of the meetings start with any club business followed by a Guest Speaker and takes the form of an illustrated display. We have a half time break to take a closer look at the display and have a chance for a coffee and a chat too. See our separate programme page.
Following a resolution at our AGM earlier this year, it was agreed to move the accounting period of the Society to the end of August each year. At the EGM on 19th January the minor changes to our Constitution were unanimously ratified and the alteration of our year end to 31st August.
The Society runs a comprehensive packet circuit, with a wide variety of good quality material which is competitively priced. See our separate packet circuit page.
The Society has a small library which consists mainly of Stanley Gibbons catalogues including some SG specialised catalogues covering GB. We also have four signascope watermark detectors, one ultra violet lamp for checking phosphor bands etc, and a Perfotronic perforation gauge with a digital read out. These are available for members to borrow for short periods. For further information please contact the Secretary
