In the mean time we are holding our third private auction run separately by Mike Consden and details can be found on the Auction Page

We are planning to restart our Speaker programme in the New Year.
Although the Community Centre site is undergoing major building works all our meetings for the time being will be held in the Old Barn Hall until further notice.
We held our “virtual ” AGM recently and all our motions were carried unanimously. The current committee were returned unopposed.
In normal times the Society meets at the Old Barn Hall at the Amersham Community Centre fortnightly, from September until June. The meetings start at 7.30pm and are usually finished by 9.30pm. Most of the meetings start with any club business followed by a Guest Speaker and takes the form of an illustrated display. We have a half time break to take a closer look at the display and have a chance for a coffee and a chat too. See our separate programme page.
Annual subscriptions are only £5.00. During the temporary period we are not meeting it has been decided to waive the annual subscription.
We hold three auctions each year and provide a fully descriptive catalogue and the opportunity to view lots beforehand. See our separate auction page.
The Society runs a comprehensive packet circuit, with a wide variety of good quality material which is competitively priced. See our separate packet circuit page.
The Society has a small library which consists mainly of Stanley Gibbons catalogues including some SG specialised catalogues covering GB. We also have four signascope watermark detectors, one ultra violet lamp for checking phosphor bands etc, and a Perfotronic perforation gauge with a digital read out. These are available for members to borrow for short periods. For further information please contact the Secretary
