Our meetings will resume in the Old Barn Hall with our first auction being held in the Drake Hall.
Hopefully then with a return to normal times the Society will meet at the Old Barn Hall at the Amersham Community Centre fortnightly, from September until June. The meetings start at 7.30pm and are usually finished by 9.30pm. Most of the meetings start with any club business followed by a Guest Speaker and takes the form of an illustrated display. We have a half time break to take a closer look at the display and have a chance for a coffee and a chat too. See our separate programme page.
Annual subscriptions are only £5.00. During the temporary period we are not meeting it has been decided to waive the annual subscription.
We hold three auctions each year and provide a fully descriptive catalogue and the opportunity to view lots beforehand. See our separate auction page.
The Society runs a comprehensive packet circuit, with a wide variety of good quality material which is competitively priced. See our separate packet circuit page.
The Society has a small library which consists mainly of Stanley Gibbons catalogues including some SG specialised catalogues covering GB. We also have four signascope watermark detectors, one ultra violet lamp for checking phosphor bands etc, and a Perfotronic perforation gauge with a digital read out. These are available for members to borrow for short periods. For further information please contact the Secretary
